Liability & Damage Policy – Carbonado Detailing

At Carbonado Detailing, we take great care when handling your vehicle. This policy outlines our responsibilities and the limits of our liability.

1. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for removing all personal items from their vehicle before their appointment.

Carbonado Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

Customers must inform us of any existing damage, defects, or fragile areas prior to service (e.g., loose trim, cracked glass, damaged paint).

2. Pre-Existing Damage

We are not liable for any damage that is the result of pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

Rust or corrosion

Loose or worn parts

Existing scratches, chips, dents, or cracks

Weak or damaged paintwork

Before starting, we may document the vehicle’s condition with photos for our records.

3. Service-Related Damage

If damage occurs that is proven to be caused by our negligence, we will take appropriate action, which may include repair or compensation.

Liability is limited to the cost of the service performed and will not exceed that amount.

4. Mechanical Issues

Our services are cosmetic in nature and do not address mechanical or structural issues.

We are not responsible for any mechanical, electrical, or structural failures that occur during or after service.

5. Specialty & Aftermarket Parts

We are not liable for damage to aftermarket parts, modifications, or specialty equipment that are not factory-installed.

This includes, but is not limited to, wraps, decals, body kits, and custom paint.

6. Environmental Factors

We are not responsible for damage caused by environmental factors after service, including but not limited to:

Tree sap, bird droppings, acid rain, salt, or road debris

Weather-related damage

7. Acceptance of Policy

By booking a service with Carbonado Detailing, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Liability & Damage Policy.
