Additional Fees Policy

At Carbonado Detailing, we strive to provide transparent pricing and ensure that our customers are aware of any additional fees for specialized services before we proceed with any work. The following services may incur extra charges, which are communicated upfront during the booking or inspection stage.

Specialized Services and Additional Fees

The following services may require an additional fee due to their complexity or the time required to complete them:

  • Ceramic Coating: This service requires a high-quality protective coating applied to your vehicle’s paint for long-lasting protection. An additional charge of $300 will apply based on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the paint.

  • Pet Hair Removal

     

    Light pet hair (minimal amount, easily removable): $20–$30

    Moderate pet hair (visible, but not overwhelming, takes more time to remove): $30–$50

    Heavy pet hair (severe buildup, requires deep cleaning and specialized tools): $50–$75+

  •  

  • Deep Stain Removal: For vehicles with tough stains (e.g., from food, beverages, or oil), additional time and specialized cleaning products may be needed. Additional fees will vary for this service.

  • Excessive Dirt and Debris: If a vehicle is heavily soiled, including mud, tar, or sap, additional cleaning time may be necessary. The additional charge will depend on the extent of the soiling and will be communicated during the inspection stage.

  • Engine Bay Cleaning: If you request engine bay cleaning as part of the detailing process, an additional charge of

    • Basic engine bay cleaning (light dirt and debris): $40–$60

    • Moderate engine bay cleaning (dirt, grease, and grime buildup): $60–$90

    • Heavy engine bay cleaning (extensive dirt, grease, oil buildup, or requiring more specialized attention): $90–$150+

     may apply.

  • Headlight Restoration: If your vehicle’s headlights require restoration due to discoloration or fogging, an additional fee of $50 per headlight will be added.

Clear Communication of Fees

  • All additional fees will be clearly communicated during the booking process or after the initial inspection of your vehicle.

  • No additional services will be performed without your prior approval.

Additional Charges for Custom or Unique Services

  • For any services not listed above but deemed necessary during the detailing process, additional fees will be discussed and agreed upon before any work is done.
